Happy Halloween Pumpkin Jack o'Lantern Limoges Box

A grinning jack o'lantern carries a cheerful Happy Halloween greeting on this orange pumpkin box. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France, more friendly than frightening and ready for the last weeks of October.

Grins by Candlelight

The carved face is the whole charm here, painted so the pumpkin seems lit from within. Paired with the holiday greeting, it reads like a porch decoration shrunk down to tabletop size, with none of the mess of scooping seeds.

Trick or Treat Companions

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Joins haunted houses, black cats and witch hats in a Halloween lineup
• Works just as well in a broader autumn and harvest grouping

When the Leaves Turn

Bring it out when the first trick or treat candy hits the grocery aisles and set it on an entry table, a mantel or a kitchen windowsill. It is a fun hostess thank-you at a Halloween party and a natural pick for anyone born in October. After the holiday, it can stay out with the gourds and fall leaves right through Thanksgiving.

From the Kilns of Central France

Limoges boxes are made of hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat before any color is added by hand.
